So I've got in sourcemod again, with a minimal set of plugins.

I'm sorry for the delay but this was a major major, major fuck up of Valve this update. I wanted to make sure this sourcemod release was tested for a few days before I installed it.

If there are bugs let me know. I haven't reset stats quite yet, probably tommorow.

Didnt see any crashes or problems from a user aspect, however the server did have a bit of lag tonight, at one point most of the people were a good 30 - 40 ms higher than normal consistantly with some higher spikes. Seemed to calm down a little bit as time progressed, was nothing too crazy.

when the server was loaded last nite, choke numbers started hitting the 70's, even with low pings.

But, the University also likes to randomly kick me off too.

I didnt pay attention to my choke much last night, I had everyone muted but when I saw the lag coming through I dont recall seeing any yellow, but I wasnt really looking. If I can play tonight I'll look more at it.

Sorry about the non announcements -

I'm working heavily, and satan usually pages me when there is an update.

I recently got an iphone and I am finalizing my update scripts, so I'm hoping to have a webpage where people can post when there is an update, it will page me, and I hit a couple buttons from my ssh shell on my iphone and it updates the server.

At that point that it is very streamlined I will be giving the admins the capability too. Unfortunately when a big update comes along this is IMPOSSIBLE, as valve fucks everything up and it breaks. However I will be able to ssh into the server with my iphone at that point.

Of course.. if valve just made autoupdate work.... and announced patch changes....

God they have really gone downhill, steam still kicks ass though. They treat their server runners like shit though.

I just got my iphone to vpn into my office to browse my internal wiki. I also managed to jiggle its brain and get MMS working way ahead of all the non jailbreakers. :)

Nice, I just formatted my Touch Pro and put on an updated ROM. Dont do VPN or even RDP on it though lol. Use VNC from work to my pc but thats it.

Isn't it At&t blocking MMS though? Not like I use it much anyway.

Jailbreaking it is a must have imo, it opens up so many things.

The ssh from it isn't ideal, it lags like holly hell and on a tiny screen, but I can run scripts from it.

I've got a nes, snes, and ps emulator on it ;) backgrounds that go through about 300 fantasy ones that change every few seconds, not to mention winterboard and so forth. I have 5 buttons on the bottom and each row in the spring is 5 buttons. There are also folders, so I can organize games into one folder and so such. It rocks.

Haha jailbreaking is awesome downloading apps for free is the best. Doodlejump is a great time waster also what the 5 apps on each row on the spring called

I'm not sure how i really managed it but I got my phone to mms and I cann't seem to get Karen's to do it. I think its te different accounts, hard to tell. I'm really stuck now that I have a reason to use VPN so I guess I can't jailbreak if I wanted.

I'm sorry for not being able to pay more attention to the server. Job is kicking my ass.

I'm happy that the server is running good now, still pissed off at valve. So I'm gonna surf the "server running good" for a couple weeks. I haven't heard any complaints other than some features, so I'm not paying that close of attention at the moment.

With the last utter fiasco that valve pulled on us I'm happy to have it just up and running.
