World weapon?

I took a look at the stats just to see if I even show up on them.

While there I noticed weapon category listed as 'world'. What is this? I have no clue yet somehow I've managed to accumulate 23 kills with it.

I know world would be when you fall/suicide, I dont know how you can kill someone with it though

I thought about that, but I've only fallen to my death twice.

Perhaps it's when you change class when alive? I do that a lot when the team needs it.

You can disable the suicide on class change

esc

multiplayer tab
advanced button
uncheck suicide

if you are in your spawn you can change with while you are still alive and havent walked out of the spawn

Makes you wonder why it's an option.
As I wrote that it occurred to me....so if you're outside of spawn, you'll finish playing out your class until someone kills you. got it.

So, my changing class in spawn is what caused all the World kills? Didn't think I'd done it that much, but I guess I had.

Not worried about how it affects my stats anyway. I just hadn't online gamed in 3 years and was curious how stats had changed and if they had finally found a way to balance stats to be based on a ratio of time played but they haven't. Then I saw I had the most 'world' kills and had no clue why/what/how.
