Anybody bothered to hack a wii?

I thought about it but have no reason to, theres no imports I really "must" have, and I have an HTPC for DVD / Blu Ray over HDMI so that kills that option lol.

If they actually would stop making tech demo's and attachments to focus on some gameplay there might be some good games to import.

I was going to hack the DVD player, but Nintendo announced they would be doing a Movie Channel some time soon, so I may as well just use that (I don't watch many movies anyways)
If it counts, Patsy and I play a lot of games on the PC with the Wiimote
(Well, the ones that you can play. Emulation and Flashgames usually work too)
If any really good homebrew titles come out, I'd probably do it for that.

I have managed it.

I was able to get Homebrew on the channel list without a Zelda hack. No MOD Chip. Then last night wrangled the backup lodaer channel on and today fired up a PAL version of Mario Kart and forced it into NTSC and it worked great.

Any differences between the EU version vs the US one?

I havent played mine in a while. Fed up with non stop attatchments and tech demo's. I want games! Mario Kart was neat for a while, but I hate being punished just for being in the top 3 places during a race...

We should just get a race in Mario Kart going between you, Arnold Karen and myself since we all have copies of that.

Either that or all get conduit and try the multiplayer on it.

The backup loader does a good job of clamping the PAL versions into NTSC, you don't even know its doing it. I guess the resolutions are all there. Rip is right its about finding the compelling titles now.
Conduit didn't look so great, is there mutliplayer in COD-WOW?

I don't see anybody playing kfc on steam
