Well, not down, there were some errors on the network port and the cisco switch downed the port -
I got it reset today.

Cool, wondered where the server went last night.
Thanks!

I need to get my hands on a switch and play with one of those, haven't had the pleasure of using a programmable one.

I was wondering what happened. BTW Zerv, there seems to be occassional problems connecting to the server on map change, it's fixable if you click disconnect and reconnect to the server but sometimes on map change it won't connect at all.

can you be more specific? ie is it when a map is changing that you have problems connecting? Is it with a reserved slot shortcut?
Probably not something I can fix, I'm assuming it's valve related, as we don't have any plugins or anything that adjust map change and connections and so forth.

It happened to me a couple times last night. Same problem, on map change there is no progress on the bar dodad. Disconnecting and the joining again solves it.

Yeah it's what Cobra says, when the server is changing maps the progress bar will not go anywhere you have to cancel and reconnect to the server.

Looks like the server is resetting as it always defaults to 2fort on the map rejoin after we disconnect and head back in.
The few times it happened while I was on it was after an RTV vote, possibly that plugin is not working properly with a new build of TF2? Have not had many no vote changes that I can recall to see if it's happening on that change too..

That sounds more likely, I'll have to look into it
