Seriously guys, how do you do it! How do you people get all them headshots with the ambassador, sniper rifle, or heck even regular shots with the scattergun or nade launcher.
Here is how I usually play
1) With a trackball(I know I know, but its actually not that bad when you get used to it)
2) Windows mouse acceleration turned off(so that the cursor/crosshairs is always moving at the same relative speed no matter how fast I move the ball).
3) TF2 mouse acceleration turned pretty high(good for soldier, but I can understand it could be a problem for sniper/ambassador spy).
Let me know your tricks and techniques! In the meantime, I'll try playing with a lower sensitivity maybe. (will make it easier to backstab and melee me I imagine).

Can't honestly help you too much because I play pyro. Pyro it's all about keeping your mouse a little ahead of the target to keep them on fire and then getting the hell out of there. With the flare gun it's more about learning the arc and travel time of the flare so you can prempt shots.
Flare gun actually is pretty easy to aim when you know that when most people see it coming they move either left or right to avoid it so you just pre-mpt them and move it to about where they will be to try to dodge it.
I also use an optical mouse over trackball, movement is smoother and my sensitivity is pretty high. How frantically do you fire though? I find the more eager you are to pull the trigger the more ammo you're waisting. To this day I actually wish Hlstats had an accuracy rating so I could see what everyone's accuracy is like.

I USUALLY(unless I get scared) tend to space out my shots(in part because it helps my aim and in part because it sometimes messes up airblasting pyros vs my rockets).

I usually move my mouse to the right if the enemy is to the right of my cursor, and when they're to the left I move it left. When they're up I move up, and down I move down. Even works with diagonal.

I often find turning my aimbot on works the best.

i tend to be better with the gravity weapons, just aiming where people are expected to be and not where they actually are. for the huntsman i kind of just arrow spam and hope for a hit.
for headshots i dont plant the reticle right on their head if they are moving, because there will be movement lag anyways, so i just take a shot when its reasonable close to their head and hope for the best.

Unless he's drunk - in which case you can rearrange those directions in just about any order.
