So last night someone on voice chat said "I thought all you [A-SP] guys were from Canada anyway?" to which he was quickly replied "fuck no, almost all of us are in the U.S., we've just got a few tokens".

I just had a look, and according to Zervun's server stats, 10 of 23 members with the A-SP tag are Canadian.

There are a few variants of the A-SP tag as well that you have to take into consideration. There is A-$P and ASP, even adding those few non-conformists the % is pretty close.

It's really funny though and it happened when it was brought up last night in game, it always is a "my country is better than your country" thing, when you bring up the Canadian vs. American topic it always seems to end in a pissing match. I am as proud as anyone of being patriotic to my country but I do recall wishing we had never invented penicillin so you Yankee bastards would have died of syphilis. I retract this comment and apologize if I offended anyone. I can only think of 14 American citizens that I would wish non-curable dick shriveling (or vage) syphilis, to generalize and wish death to them all was ignorant of me.

Oh, that is so true. Those have to be the funniest threads on the internet. The volume of stupid/hypocritical/uninformed posts on those threads is second to none (second place goes to mac/pc threads). They start off polite then become a contest to see which person, with an eighth-grade reading level, can post the most ridiculous comment.
They always end the same way;

some Canadian posting a long list of famous canadians (William Shatner usually at the top of the list. sigh) in a desperate attempt to prove we are relevant.

some American informing us that none of our arguments matter since they could blow us all up any time they want, so they win.

being Canadian, i have no idea why people hate on California . . was kinda cool when i was visiting there. i would think picking more on Alabama or Tennessee or New Jersey would be more fun. Now Quebec on the other hand . . has a whole range of "why do we keep them around" issues.
