Anyone play it yet? I have to wait for Christmas to get this one but I was absolutely thrilled with Red Alert, Red Alert 2, and Command and Conquer Generals. Tiberium Sun sucked so I can only hope that this release can return the franchise to the RTS king of the heap, at least until Starcraft 2 comes out.
This just might be my ticket out of 2fort.

Oh Satan. I forget how fragile your becoming in your middle age. No I think tf2 is a long term disease. But, unlike you boys and your left for dead or fallout 3 I haven't strayed beyond tf2 in a while unless you count spore or peggle and really what can you count spore as but a loser date that needs a penecillin shot afterwards.
I might want to dump 2fort but not the Phlorph!!

If you do what I'm doing, and make sure you split your time in half between the two. I'll cut you slack, if you do that.

I will wait a while longer before looking into this one. Generals was great, however the new C&C sucked for me. Currently I love Supreme Commander although it rapes my system with the full scale large battles across dual screens which I love

This is great news. I was just recently trying to find something else that was like the old C&C. Didn't know there was a new one out. It is out now right? Is it on Steam (nope, just checked. damn it.)?
thanks for posting about this.

God we used to hack the Red Alert .ini files so bad back in the day. Mammoth thanks that fired tesla coil lightning, flamethrower troops that fired attack dogs by the dozen, omg it was so much fun!
If anyone is/was familiar with golems for starcraft, well we had created something kind of similar for the original red alert back in the day before I ever heard of golems.
Now I'm flashing back to getting Total Annihilation to run on my 133mhz with a 2mb video card and 32mb RAM. I was also able to get that machine to run HL1 at 320x200, could only handle the tutorial level though..

It will let you play co-op on the campaign. crazy shit. The soviet girls are obviously re-branded California girls.

Its fairly classic, the addition of co-op campaign with an AI partner if you play solo is a new twist, the cut scenes are pretty funny.
