So Fantastical, Medwards, Satan and myself just beat the demo on expert level. It only took us three hours and countless deaths, but we did it. It was awesome.

Let us know your best times on expert, that shit is fucking ridiculous, especially when they throw a fucking witch at you! god damn, insane. Beat our 3 hours, we'll report if we beat it again. We should all sign up for a l4d phlorph tourney, with team brackets or something haha

I agree. Especially when versus mode comes out, it will be intense. After you beat it on expert, you'll be pumped full of adrenaline for at least an hour.

honestly, you're so tense and on edge the whole time you're playing! you can't remain calm at all and everything you say is yelling. you feel like i imagine medwards feels all the time.

So fantastical, Medwards, Arm Pit and myself took another crack at expert mode and managed to beat it in about half an hour. The catch was, we were all alive when I was about to enter the last safe house, and then a boomer popped out of the roof, vomited on me, a horde of zombies came rushing out of the safe house door right as i was going to go in, and killed Mewards, Armpit and myself, leaving fantastical bleeding and alive. We only managed to beat it with fantastical alive. If anyone can beat expert with everyone alive, let's hear about it.

i am pretty sure the max people is 8, 4 survivors and 4 zombie bosses. I'm POSITIVE though. Z man, you've got to fuckin' pick this shit up, it's so crazy! you'll have a damn blast

Made my post last night after beating expert with all of us alive, 3 people one NPC. The mini gun in the last room helped a fair amount. Almost as much as the pipe bombs which they all run after hehe.

We died 5 times getting up to there though thanks to a tank and witch at once in the subway tunnel, that did not go well lol.

I think Satan time our last run on Expert at about 30 minutes, but our last two attempts haven't included the Tank which generally downs at least half the team (if not killing them outright). I think having played a bunch as infected /w Fantastical and Pony that we'll be better at dealing with infected... melee attacks really mess up boss infected.

But nothing can really beat limping into the generator room

Lol the few times my group caught her there we distracted and in the time it took her to stand up we minigunned her to death lol.

hahahaha we just played through advanved melee only. it was hilarious, we even meleed a witch!

I would say we did come very close to meleeing that tank to death. There was a point in time where at least three of us were hitting it at the same time. I'm sure we'll get him next time.

It's fun a hell though isn't it? We played a couple rounds today and got our asses handed to us and never left the building.

Even when you are getting rolled it's fun, I can't wait until we can do 4 v 4.

Yeah I gotta admit; the game is damn fun. I still have to finish getting used to the controls. I didn't find the melee attack till about the third run. Also since I'm a lefty I have to constantly tweak with my controls since WSAD never works since my left hand is on the mouse.

Definetly a well pollished game. Can't wait for the full retail version.

I played one round of normal, one round of advanced, and nothing but expert since. Even if you lose for this type of game its more fun on expert IMO. Dunno if I will change that tune as the game progresses and gets harder :p

First time I joined up with my IV friends they had just opened the final door and were getting rushed on all sides lol. I spawned in a group of zombies and proceeded to die.

have demo now. freezes up a lot. maybe it's just a 64bit bug. did get through one round on regular. didn't excite me much. maybe coop is more fun but it freezes up a lot so if i was in coop i'd screw the team over.

nope, I'm running 64 bit and it's fantastic. I've had it crash on me twice though.

I don't know too much about it but I have also heard there are some problems with L4D being compatible with certain dual core processors. I havn't run into such problems but hey.

Oddly enough I never take that gun, always take the assault rifal. I have picked it up a few times one someone has died but never started out with it.
