I wish to have my ban revoked. I was banned for racism, though it was intended to be a joke, it wasnt seen as such. I realize you have a strict rule against racism, but i am sorry for what i did. I made many friends here and wish to keep playing here. I hope we can get past this.

I would vouch for Zangetsu. Though he did make a stupid mistake, he deserves a second chance, but it is entirely up to you. Though you may see my opinion as bias, I've played with him for a couple years and he usually does not act like this.

I was unaware of the rule, though it does make sense and I am sorry. I didn't realize i had been such a problem. I was told by you that it was a 1 day ban, but if you feel this way then I guess my time here is done.

Well, first, I'm not sure exactly what happened, and I trust all my admin's decisions

Your right, I REALLY don't put up with any for of racism and crap. I find mic spamming, and slinging out racist and or sexist crap to be usually idiots trying to compensate for insecurities or something else. It's literally one of the reasons that I started this server so that I could play in a more mature environment. I find that I have friends that play with speakers with kids running around able to hear whats coming from them also. After years of playing online, I got absolutely sick of hearing this crap. I should not have to mute someone from hearing bullshit like that.

I have a gay brother in-law who is a great guy, other gay friends I've met over the years, and can't even count how many different ethnic backgrounds of friends I've had over the years. I'm caucasian, married, and I'm not really offended personally by a lot of these comments, but I just don't want to hear that immature bullshit and or have others offended, and actually have to do something such as mute to stop it. Jokes are jokes, but open mic spam and crap is just beyond retarded.

And with that said, mic spam is so annoying just in general without even taking content into the picture.

With that said, if indeed you were told it was a 1-day ban then that is a selectable option in the admin menu, and you should be free to play after it expires. If it was a perma ban, I will let you off this one time, and will release the ban tommorow at 5pm to give you some extra time to reflect.

If you pull whatever crap again, I'd expect my admins to give a perma ban which I won't lift. There is really no excuse for this type of behavior, and I rarely make exceptions.

i understand arnie initiated the ban . . . if was for 1 day that should be honored and Zangetsu should be allowed back to play after the 1 day ban is over. If arnie deems the comments warrant a perma-ban then that is his call and i would support that.

that said, i have had no issues with Zangetsu returning to play on phlorph after he has served his time. yeah he may make my mute list in the future, but hey everyone has that chance

The first rule of comedy is to know your audience. An easy way to do that is to listen. Are you the only one laughing? If so, then its time to come up with new material and leave the racism on the image boards.

Depends on the conversation and ammount of it. People who join and scream, talk about nothing or play music are insta muted. If most of the server is doing that voice is turned off lol. I dont mind talking and chatting but I also like to hear the spy decloaking or walking up behind me :( Then I usually forget to turn it back on until someone yells at me in Steam chat lol

I dont know the whole story of what happend to warrant this ban, but all jokes like that are touchey in this over P.C. world. I am all for racial jokes, sterio types, and humor, I can give as much as I get because I just dont care who'se what when where.

However, there's a time and a place for it and while Phlorph is very open minded and open to talk about odd and random things, when players have families, and you dont know them very well its better to just hold your toung.
