Lost in Liberty City

I went and picked up a 360 today (I had once said I will never play a game on the console because controllers are gay) and a copy of GTA 4.

My god it's cool. I still run around most of the time trying to go straight and not looking at the ground or bumping into people but I am sure after I plug 40 hours into the game I will get the hang of it.

Soon as I figure out the Live thing I will want to try some multiplayer killing.

Definitely a good game, though I agree with you that console FPS games are always lacking due to the lack of mouse and keyboard. The game is pretty fun online, you should try Cops and Robbers if you ever get Live started. Probably the best game-type you can try.
