my ps3 is assed! it won't read a single fucking disc. First my computer blows up and I have to fix that, then my ps3 blows the fuck up! this is horrible, i'm destined to be fucked over with electronics

Were you playing CoD4 on it? I've heard that it often happens when people are playing that game. It's probably a coincidence since its the most popular and most played game on the PS3, but I've really only heard it happening from CoD4.

Also have you tried to go to Settings and tried restoring it to factory settings?

Either way, that really sucks.

I'm restoring now, it takes 5 hours. I got home from work and it was broken, it was working fine last night!
