Stat Resets

Going to be introducing stat resets to make it more of a challenge, pick the time frame.

I think 4 weeks is the best, restarting on the first of the month. Maybe you can keep a record of player of the month or something, it would be cool, take it from me.

I am not really for this, now if there was a way that you could say keep the stats that you have now updated, might take some scripting to do, and do say monthly updates that would be cool.

I have worked how to get up to the 12th spot I am and I am having more fun chasing down the people in the top 10 as fast as I can. With that stats like they are it really shows the people who play on the server mostly.

I like the people on the server that keeps me coming back, but I also like trying to chase them down in rank. That really makes it fun.

Well one thing you have to remember, is the people in the top10, will most likely be still, in the top10, so this just reduces the "run down" margin, and makes the top10 fight for them more.

Also, our tweaked stats at this moment, have been severely bloated due to different point changes across time, with a refresh lets say every month, we can fine tune it more.

Hlstats percentages was written for CS and well doesn't fit the TF2 model well.

I think this is a great idea. My only reservation is if we can't keep a semi-easily accessable record of previous months stats to view. As much as I like the plan, it would be depressing to see all my hard work disappear each month :)

is it at all possible to do the player of the month section on the main page of stats, or where you click between forums and stats?

Well see like Levi said before with the stats resetting every month its like all the hard work you put in is now out thw window and you start over. Like all my hard work to get to 12th in the points or where I am now I think its still 12th is just now all gone. Did that time and work for nothin.

well except now, a bunch of people know you're a regular and a good person to have on their team right? and now you have a chance at top 10 for the month
