I play WoW. On Spirestone, if you're interested.

Anyone else?

I played through the closed and open beta phases but decided it wasn't worth paying for when it went to retail.

I'm intermittently on eq2 pvp server, vanguard, eve-online, and shadowbane

Could never get into wow mainly due to the cartoon graphics.

I worked for Eve online for a few months. Except instead of paying me, I payed them $15 a month. I guess I didn't actually work for them, but it felt like work.

The game looks great (especially with the new engine) and is fun for a while, until you start getting more advanced missions which last about 5 hours They have a time limit, so you can't just start a mission, then complete it another day. So you end up setting aside several hours of your life so you can work on one mission.

Eve online is a different breed -

I've been off and on for years, with two accounts

IMO it's the most advanced mmorpg, and most complicated

I did the mission thing for a long time, but imo PVE in eve isn't that great, but it's the #1 pvp content of any game out there

I would disagree that the pvp in EVE is that good. It's extraordinarily depressing when you spend weeks and weeks leveling and saving up to buy a shiny, brand-spankingly-new ship just to have it destroyed three hours later by some jerk who gets his rocks off camping next to "safe" hyperspace gates, destroying anyone who gets through, and getting away with it because the only players who are even close to his level are five systems away picking on kids their own size.

But maybe I'm just ranting.

If you cant afford to lose it, dont fly it. IMO the UI is crappy and thats why the pvp is boring as hell. So much lag and you cant hardly tell whats going on.

PotBS on the other hand is a little less complicated from EVE and the PVP is tons more fun.

The only acronyms I understood were "UI" and "PVP"

This is what wow is all about.
