Just a questions since tihs is going on Steam soon with a bunch of TF2 stuff. I allready own the thing and play it occassionally on Xbox Live and can answer questions about it. I don't exactly like the idea of buying it twice but if enough phlorph members get it I might split a four pack.

Airbear and I picked it up. It is pretty fun. :) Not as fun as TF2, but still fun.

No it's not as fun as TF2 really, it lacks the variety of map types and I think the TF2 characters are far better on the whole. But it is unique in its own way. I'm just trying to guage whether or not its worth owning one game two times on two platforms.

Also, how has phlorph been in population? I've been out o fit because I got hoooked on Mass Effect 2 and have otherwise been studying for the Nevada BAR.

Phlorph pops pretty quickly when regulars get on, but doesn't happen often enough. :(

Also, I have a 1 day guest pass that Steam issued me if anyone wants to try out Monday Night Combat. :)

It's not as good as TF2 IMO for the following reasons.

1. Lack of variety, though nto deathmatch there really is only one style of gameplay. On the plus side it's entirely unique from other vs games but it really does boil down to one type.

2. The characters suck. TF2 comparisons aside I just don't like any of the characters minus the assassin. They just don't have the same unique personality nor interesting designs that Valve pulled with TF2.

Though if you are interested in it Ripskin, the sniping is quite good. You can't hide and snipe as well as in TF2 but the abilities they give the sniper make him quite capable of covering his ass if something gets near him.

DotA Fortress Combat is a pretty fun game. Comparing it to TF2 is not fair though. The graphics style is similar, and they did go for the silhouetted characters like TF2 did as well. That aside, this game is more comparable to DotA than it is to TF2. It isn't as good as either at being either, but the environment is a ton of fun and overall it is a great way to waste some time.

Hmm, i'll have to watch more videos, for DOTA I am starting League of Legends which is fun even with some of the bugs and initial issues.

We'll see.

MNC seems like DotA, dumbed down a bit, with a bit of TF2.
So I definitely don't see any appeal in it.
