It seems like a good number of us Phlorphers have Killing Floor (Especially since it's been on sale.)

Any possibilities/support of getting a Phlorph server set up? I do not know if they have Linux servers...

I believe Zervun religiously refuses to use anything that isn't Linux. I have yet to find anything on it, but we'll see.

EDIT: Looks like we're in luck. Linux Server Tutorial (http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=30911)!
Anyone else in support of this?

I can probably do this, I played killing floor for quite a while

My only worry is effort vs. fun - I don't think I ever joined a specific KF server and I played for months.

I thought killing floor was great fun just seemed that there was absolutely no attachment to server/community

The benefit would be a server I always know is on, and gives a good ping. It usually isn't hard to get a game filled up, since people just join whatever has someone in it.

Plus it would always have the settings that we want, rather than digging though a bunch of servers trying to find the right settings with a good ping.

I agree with Grassman, having a KF server always be up that could easily populate with people I actually LIKE playing with sounds like a really fun idea. KF may not have quite the community of TF2, but I think a lot of Phlorphers might enjoy being able to take a break from TF2, while still playing with friends.

Dude I LOVE playing with Banjo.
Seriously though it's actually pretty fun to play with him, he stomps me into the floor sure, but the only way to ever get better at something is to play with people above your level.
As well, I like to play with most of Phlorph, even you Grassman.
