Anyone up for a scrim team?

Any of you interested in making a Phlorph/[A-SP] scrim team for shits and giggles, nothing serious. I think I can manage to play 250+ping scout competitively and not totally rage. We would need a medic 2 soldiers 1 scout and 1 medic, and a few extra people that can fill in spots. If you are interested post in here, if we get a good starting 6 we can probably mess around and have fun! Also if you don't know the basics I will gladly guide you through them!

As posted on the blog we can get medals for being in the highlander tournament (http://etf2l.org/2010/03/25/the-etf2l-highlander-community-challenge/), there is medals for winning first second and one for participation (not just signing up). Maybe we can round up 9 of us, of course ping will be a problem but hey it's a free medal!

I'd be up for the highlander competition. The time difference, and ping might make it a little hard, and I don't expect we do much but free participation medal! Obviously, my main class doesn't exactly fit into normal scrims/competitions so I'd pass on that.

Any class is competitive, depends on the map, the player and the situation. Thats part of the reason why I gave up on competitive play. A bunch of pussies retaining sand.

Hated all the jack ass rules and arrogant prick players lol.

But it can be fun. If there is a game around my time I am game to join in. I can play any class, not very good a demo but I can play anything.

I believe they are in game medals. As in the items you can put in your misc slot.

I think a lot of it is just for fun, not too serious. And since highlander is one of every class, I'd rather have you as a sniper than most people :)

In game ones, Mental. And sniper in competitive play isn't all that rare, though the sniper has his maps most of the time they run with scouts and then switch it up to sniper to give them a surprise and kill a bunch of them. Updating the highlander team!

I am being a bit presumptuous and saying that we won't always have our starting 9 online so I put sput/typical/ripskin as scouts I don't think that'll be a problem Rip and typical play different classes. 1 more person!

I figured out how to install walkway so I'll be sure brush up on my sniper/scout. I think my sniping has been rusty as of late (perhaps because I'm playing through a console FPS).

I'm still game for scrim matches as Sniper and Scout (and engineer if needs be). But I'm concerned whether we've lost too many of our best and brightest too Starcraft II or from TF2 burnout.

But despite my reservations I really want to see this happen. I for one am very proud to be apart of Phlorph and A-SP, and want the chance to prove our worth to the rest of the TF2 community.

The nice thing about the highlander competition is that it looks to be more about fun than being fantastic. But I'm pretty sure the phlorphers are good enough to kick some ass in a few rounds at least.
