Starcraft 2

Anyone get into the beta? I am waiting for it to release so I can buy myself a copy, for now I am just hounding over youtube videos of matches and people modding things. I hate waiting!

Played it, hated it.
Game is not fun. Ask Lenin, he loved Starcraft 1 (I didn't) and he even hates 2.

I liked the original but thought Warcraft was more fun. Second one looks pretty but not very fun.

I'm really only interested in the custom maps. The map editor seems pretty powerful, and I've always enjoyed the custom/UMS maps that came out for Starcraft and Warcraft 3. I'm not as excited about the actual RTS/main part of Starcraft :P

They have the leveling system added into the map editor for custom maps, so I'm pretty sure there will be DOTA or similar maps.

Some cool tools. FPS was done in Warcraft III which was kinda neat.

If DOTA gets popular on there and good like the 3.7 range of the War 3 mod I might pick it up.

But not for full price. I like RTS's but I dunno about the RTS aspect of SC2 :o A demo shall be telling... if one comes out...

I found a way to play a cracked version so it is just you vs bots, if anyone is interested post and I'll show you how! The cracked version only allows you to play versus bots though.

Spore was great until EA got it's hands on it.
Will Wright is a genius. Just a genius caught in a system.

Needless to say I'm not that interested in Starcraft 2. The first one was perfect. If all it was was a graphics/engine update, I'd like it. I don't think the new balancing will be as good though.
