That'd have been something to see. Time to install some backup generators! lol.... a whole lot of them.

The pittock building has something like 8 12,000 hp diesel generators.

They ran out of oil the power was out for so long.

heaven forbid I try to impart a little knowledge over the internet about a subject I know a lot about.

what was I thinking

I guess I shouldn't even mention 8 12,000 hp diesel generators running out of oil

Fuel, diesel whatever I'm tired and was up yesterday around 3am due to the issue. Given the fact that I've built/designed multiple datacenters, 1 from the complete ground up, I could care less if I type the wrong word in a forum especially when I am busy working on other things and tired.

Call the internet police!

Satan, I was responding to a heated response by Your Typical Mental. I think he's mad.

that's a really great resume, but I wasn't trying to point out typos or police the internet. Nothing wrong with correcting a small mistake. I mean, would you rather be continually wrong or just know the right answer? I wasn't trying to offend anyone and to be honest I expected a response like: "Oh yeah, transformer." Instead I get responses like: "shut up" and "I've built/designed multiple datacenters, 1 from the complete ground up...blah blah blah"

Relax guys, it was just a simple correction. No reason to bust out your resumes or get angry.

Fuel, diesel whatever

Actually Z you need not worry about that, diesel fuel is actually a light oil. Some alternatives to diesel fuel include vegetable oil even peanut oil. It's my understanding that you can use vegetable oil without any modifications to the engine or the fuel delivery system. That's also another reason diesel engines will last so much longer than gas pots, the fuel does not burn off the film of oil on the pistons.

Just saying...

Plus, Transistors are pretty important. Maybe they need to just fill buildings with them, hm?

Either way, maybe the Power Outage somehow changed the config and turned random Crits off. I think BlackBanjo better start praying.

Yeah I heard my brother's tweets about the max being behind. Urban blight is what you got there. No power and society breaks down in about 45 mins. when the Lattes` run dry.

LOL

Now that I think about it, crits take 3x more power than regular shots. Should probably turn them off so this power outage doesn't happen again. Think of the environment.
