Anybody watch this show? A webseries about gamers.... Its available for viewing on their website (http://www.watchtheguild.com/). I just found the song the cast does about dating her avatar (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urNyg1ftMIU&feature=fvw). The lead is Felicia Day (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felicia_Day) http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2004/1608784802_0552092153.jpg

God. I can't stand that show. Silly WoW chick who acts like she's better than other female gamers.
She does the whole "I don't use sex appeal!" Then she makes that "date my avatar" clip.
She's a blizzard fangirl too. Downside in my books.

With a review like that from Fraggles then I will definitely start working my way through the back episodes. LOL

It'd be a good show for people who love MMOs. But they aren't gamers. They are just the bad kind of sadist.
Felicia does a much better job in Dr.Horrible's Sing Along Blog. That's funny and she's nice and cute in it. Well, she's nice and cute in general. She just irritates me.

I agree with the Red Heads. I love mine
Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog is magnificant, but I find it hard for any girl, with any fame, a camera, and surrounded by hormonal teenage boys on the internet to not be "Sex Appeal"ey

That made me laugh.
I think the main problem with the show and thus her is the whole WoW thing. Back when I played that scum pile, 75% of my guild were female. Including the Guild Leader.
It doesn't make you a cool person if you play these things. It makes you a loser.
WoW F--

What a great question!
Edit: Watched the first one, and I am amazed I got through the whole thing to say the least.

Nice post Fraggles. I wouldn't have pegged Fraggles for a Felicia stalker but she has the links to back it up. Lots of back story.

Oh shut up Arnold. When you've been the media whore of the internet for as long as I have, I think you'll find that you'd be more than capable of pulling up a few videos or articles on most pop culture references. The internet raised me way more than my parents or brother ever did. ;)

The Guild isn't too bad, it mocks a lot of points of World of Warcraft, which is a plus in my book. The Date My Avatar isn't a sex appeal whatchamacallit, it's a parody of it, and it's pretty clever actually.
Felicia has the whole, creamy skin, redhead deal going, she's easily in my top 5 list of most attractive women.
Also, having played WoW, I can attest that good god female players of that game are absolute attention whores.

A good portion of gamer girls are, and for every female attention whore you have a male one also, that puts his avatar as a picture of his abs or him flexing that thinks he is the shit.

Been on the net quite a while I have. Speak like Master Yoda can I. Irritating "Freya The Media Whore" can be quite a fun pastime. LOL

Is that the same for TF2 Miles?

I would play if I could get a free account. I enjoy the goals and crap but I'm cheap. I'm not going to play a freebie knockoff though.

I've been playing since the Beta as well. I'm not afraid to say that WoW is excellently done. However, that Genre just can't hold my attention.
Guild Wars is the only MMO I've really enjoyed, and that hardly counts as one.
