Seems like my fps just magically went to shit recently. And the game isnt smooth for me anymore.. anyone else noticing this?
And as the title suggests what are you guys using?

Hmm, I dont use any in game configs other than the games graphical settings.
Smoothness issues might be background processes or other issues taking away from the games priority or issues on the server your playing on.

I use an amalgamation of m0res and m3liors FPS config. Works damn good and also has a toggle script for aimbots built in. I can upload it if you want, but a google search should get you what you want.

Well, it depends on what you're running in your system Kaek.
What kind of setup do you have?
I run on maxed settings, maxed AA and ASF at 1680x1050, but I'm running an i5 and a 4870.

I've been running full settings, windowed, 1440x900px for quite a long time with no problems. Only recently does my framerate go to crap, but that is usually my own fault, me thinks.
C2D 3.0 gHz
nVidia 8800 GTS
6 gb RAM
Vista Ultimate x64
My guess would be processes running in the background, unless you've got some heating problems...? Unlikely on that one.
No scripts for me, except I'm running the more detailed models (I think, I have not seen much difference in FPS from it) and random things like flaming Gibs turned on.

I am running a C2D E8400 with a Geforce GTX 260. Thing is before I reformatted (2 months ago) Everything was smooth and nice. I was an idiot and in my backing up process, I did not backup my configs.
Now I have been trying to get back where I was then now.. Nothing has changed hardware wise since. I've been trying different configs and what not.. not much has changed. I guess I was hoping it was valves fault!

Honestly I prefer to do a clean install of everything after a format.
