Anyone else in the beta for MAG?
It seems pretty neat so far, large scale team based FPS, with up to 256 players, enjoyed what I tried.

Would be cool, but I seriously fail at FPS on consoles for some reason. I always end up just either lobbing grenades at the sky or my feet.

Looks neat, but I hate FPS games on the consoles. They dont feel natural or right to me as a PC gamer first. If that came to the PC i'd give it a go.

I wonder if it has Mouse and Keyboard support. Some PS3 games offer that.

I can't wait for the first FPS that can link multiplayer between PCs and consoles, if only to prove once and for all my lame console-fps-playing friends that keyboard and mouse are FAR superior to a gamepad.

That would be cool. Although if the PS3 offered a keyboard and mouse I still wouldn't bother, my PC is more powerful and comfortable. Driving games and such I seem to enjoy more on consoles.

I have Dirt2 coming soon for free. I have a game pad coming for my PC to sue with that.

The last FPS I played on a console was the Tribes port for the PS2, and it was a horrible way to revisit Tribes.
Mag looks neat, but the only console shooter I ever liked was Golden Eye for the 64.

I wonder if they ever will merge the two platforms for multi player. For some games I think it would be a blast, others eh.

Yeah, I'd like to see Console and PC games work together for Multiplayer for once, it'd be nice.
But I think it's nice for PS3 to include Keyboard & Mouse support, since I do prefer controller for quite a few game types. Over the shoulder shooters, RPG, Fighting games, etc.

I've played the MAG beta a bit, it almost seems like too many people when you are going 64v64. I enjoy the Bad Company 2 beta more personally.

Also, yes the PS3 supports keyboard/mouse, but unfortunately only one game has utilized it, Unreal Tournment 3.

Seriously, more of the developers need to use it, it's depressing.
I've been playing in the 128 vs. 128 player matches, and I've got to say, I love it so far. It's hectic, it's huge, and it's a blast.

MAG beta is now in the Open Beta phase, and it's going fantastic.
I highly suggest you guys give it a shot if you haven't already.

I bought it.. Its pretty good.. takes abit to learn where you need to be and what you need to do just as a squad. The maps are huge but if played correctly amongst the leaders, all you need to worry about is one objective.

Yeah, I was going to pick it up, but not enough good friends to play it with, which is too bad.
