Mysterious Ramp on Dustbowl

So I spawned on the second half defense of dustbowl and found this mysterious ramp just hovering in the air. I tried jumping on it and it seems to slow me for a second, like I was sliding off a thin beam, but I couldn't climb it. hah that rocks though, have had that happen before, although that is a fairly major one

is that the roof from the staircase around the corner?
