For those of you seeking a reserve slot, Zervun has requested you post your in-game name and Steam_ID, but how do you find your Steam_ID? The Steam ID listed on your community page is not the steam id that Zervun seeks. It's the numeric series that Steam assigned you when you created your steam account. It is in the form <number>:<number>:<several numbers>. To find this ID number is fairly easy. Just follow these steps:
1. Open TF2.
2. Create a server.
3. Once you're at the Welcome screen open the "Developer's Console" by pressing "`" (tilde key above the left tab). Can't open the console? Probably because you don't have it enabled.
Go to Options > Advanced > Check the developer console box.
4. Now that you have the console open, type. status It will return the following.
hostname: Team Fortress 2
version : 1.0.1.7/14 3366 insecure
udp/ip : 192.168.0.3:27015
map : duel_duel2 at: 0 x, 0 y, -302 z
players : 1 (24 max)
# userid name uniqueid connected ping loss state adr
# 2 "TrashedDT of the " [B]STEAM_0:1:12544095 00:06 26 0 active loopback
The part is red in the example is where your steam ID is located. Provide this to Zervun to make his life easier.
